My roommate and I are both management consultants who'd like to split a 3BR in Long Island City, Sunnyside, or Astoria.

On a regular day, we'll be working in Midtown, going to our gyms, winding-down quietly, and exchanging small talk / jokes on the off chance. Our goal is to be clean and organized in shared space, but are understanding/transparent when life gets in the way.

One of us is Indian and the other is Venezuelan, and that is often reflected in our cooking. We're no iron chefs :), but we regularly do our meal prep and save eating out for social occasions.

We value honesty and respect over everything. This makes the roommate situation much more manageable such that a strong match is made from the outset. Also, problems can be addressed before cascading into something less tractable (and more traumatic).

We sometimes entertain friends in the apartment and are pretty open to others joining. An occasional perk of roommates is the networking and intersections that happen in social life. However, it's just a perk not really a requirement.

Both of us are single. But who knows! That could change, *shrug*. In the event that romantic partners are invited for a night, we expect each other to be respectful of common space and preferences set by the group.
