About me:
I’m a 38-year-old female public school music teacher working remotely from home this semester, as well as a fiction writer in my spare time. I am responsible, financially reliable, clean and tidy in common spaces, communicative, and sociable while remaining respectful of others’ privacy and space - looking for the same. I take Covid seriously and practice precautions such as socializing with care, avoiding prolonged indoor activities whenever possible, wearing a mask, getting tested etc - and it’s important to me that you take these types of precautions too. I would also prefer to live with a woman.

38-year-old female music teacher/fiction writer seeks one new roommate for responsible and friendly co-living near Astoria Park.
About the apartment:
- charming and cozy, but with ample space for two people
- layout conducive to both easy communal chilling and privacy
- on the first floor, but very secure
- a sweet little patio out back, and Astoria Park is located literally half a block away – hot commodities in Covid times for sure! -situated halfway between 23rd and 24th Aves, it’s in a quiet neighborhood (with plenty of easy street parking if you have a car) far enough from the hustle and bustle to be calm and restful, but close enough to conveniently access tons of great restaurants, shops, and amenities
- about a 10 minute walk to the N/W train and the trusty, frequent Q69 bus stops just at the end of the block
- apartment is clean, and repairs are always dealt with in a timely manner by the landlord, who lives nearby but not directly on premises
- pets are negotiable on a case by case basis
About the room:
- 11 x 12 sweet and sunny bedroom, the largest of three
- located at one end of the apartment, while I will be renting both the two smaller bedrooms located together at the other end - a nice benefit in terms of space and privacy
- rent would be $875, with a one-month deposit of $875, and we would split internet and electricity (usually runs between $50 - $80 each per month, depending on the season)
- Available for a 12/1 or 12/15 move-in
| Rent: | $875 |
