Hi, my name is Ashley and my friend/roommate's name is Max. We both work from home during the day - Max, works in tech and I work in Ops for a nonprofit. I also work at a music venue during weekends sometimes. He has a very adorable Corgi and I have two cats, but my cats mainly stay downstairs with me. We're both in our mid-30's, quiet, sober, and really laid-back. We're both clean and kind of homebodies, but we don't use the kitchen or common space super often (if we're being we're being totally honest here :) ).
We have two furnished rooms up for grabs, but are only looking for one roommate - take your pick! Both rooms are available Feb 1st and the lease ends on April 30th, so this would be a 3-month lease/sublet. Perfect for someone just moving to the city. The apartment is right next to Brower Park in Crown Heights (between the Nostrand A/C and Nostrand 3 trains. Also very close to the 4/5 and 2 trains). First floor and there is laundry in the basement.
- First room is a mid-sized room for $1,100 that gets a lot of light during the day. It will come furnished with a Queen sized bed, good closet space, and other furniture that you can keep/use at your discretion. (If you prefer unfurnished, that's fine, as well)
- Alternatively, we have a very large bedroom for $1,800/month with LOTS of windows (seriously.. all the windows) that look into a nice wooded backyard. Really, this room is huge. This room would also be furnished with a king sized bed, has a closet, and other furniture you wish to keep at your discretion. Or unfurnished! Whatever works for you.
Because we both currently work from home and have pets, we would prefer roommates that don't. We love all the pets! but we also know it would likely be a lot and add another layer of complication with all the animals. Nothing against you or your fur babies. We also prefer no partying, drinking, etc. We're old (kind of, not really), tired, and sober. :')
