My name is Cheri Bivens I'm 46 years old. I have four children who live in Vancouver Washington , With all of my grandkids . From 1995- 2008 I was a Fire Fighter - EMT for Cowlitz County. During my time with them I was injured and am now on disability. Since then, I Have been a care taker for my father for the last 13 years. As of late he has had increasing health problems and is going to need to be admitted to a Healthcare facility . I am currently living in His home which will need to be sold in order to create the funds needed for him to stay in the Assisted Living Program as long as possible . I am on disability through social security .
However, finding a roomate or a place of my own has been difficult as i do have a few Felonies on my record from many years back. Times were tough and I wasn't able To feed my family , I've me decisions that I'm not proud of . My past does not define me, or who I am today, I know that I have made mistakes in my past but hope that those mistakes do not hinder my ability To find a roommate and live close to my kids in Washington, as it has in the past. My felony is for shoplifting , its a non violent crime. I've served my time and Im ready to move on to the next chapter of my life.
