I’m a woman in my early 30s, a PhD candidate and instructor at the University of Toronto. Most of my work is from home, so I tend to have a quiet and steady routine in front of my laptop. I’m laid back and respectful, more of a homebody with headphones on than a partier, though I do enjoy the occasional night out.
I share the space with my 10-year-old husky, Nala. She is very sweet, friendly, and spends most of the day either napping or people watching. I love coffee, books, plants, painting, red wine, and good conversation. I don’t cook much (so the kitchen is often free!)—though I’d be happy if you do. I also have a car that you’re welcome to borrow occasionally. Looking for a roommate who’s friendly, responsible, appreciates a calm, comfortable home, and is willing to offer Nala a belly rub from time to time.

Very spacious two-story townhouse that’s connected to a condo building—so you’ll enjoy full access to all the building amenities, including a 24-hour gym and steam room, basketball court, pickleball court, squash court, pool tables, media room, party room, rooftop terrace, concierge, security, and a storage locker.
The townhouse has two front entrances (one from the building, one directly to the street), a full kitchen with an island, a microwave, dishwasher, and an espresso machine, and a fully furnished living room with a cozy fireplace and lots of plants. The apartment features a washer and dryer on the second floor, as well as ample closet space and an additional shared bathroom downstairs.
The location is within walking distance to the lake, the Distillery District, Riverdale Park, Don Trails, and two public recreational centres (one has a pool). Also very close to both the DVP and the Gardiner, and various streetcar routes (505, 501, which is 24 hours, and 504). Freshco is within walking distance, Shoppers is connected to the building, and many nice spots in the neighbourhood. It is right across the street from a soccer field, skating rink, and running track.
Your space: Private unfurnished bedroom upstairs with large windows and a good-sized closet. Your own full bathroom with a bathtub. A separate den just for you.
Outdoor space: The front has a porch and garden area, with a veggie garden you’re welcome to use, plus a BBQ for summer and/or winter evenings if you’re up for it.
You’ll also be living with a very sweet, blue-eyed 10-year-old husky who’s extremely friendly and loves cuddles.
