I am a 27-year old female teacher in Washington Heights. I have been living and teaching dance in a public school in this neighborhood for 6 years. I love dancing, volleyball, knitting, working out, watching TV/movies, seeing friends for drinks/trivia, and eating yummy food.
I am a clean and respectful roommate. I am generally very tidy and pick up after myself in common areas. I at least like to thoroughly clean bathroom/kitchen once a month but can also move towards more frequently based on my roommate's preferences.
I can be very friendly and outgoing but I am probably most quiet and reserved at home if work was particularly exhausting or stressful that day. I have had roommates that are close friends and I have had roommates that are simply friendly cohabitators. I can range between the two based on you, but I typically work best with at least other friendly and respectful people.
I feel neutral about occasional guests, as long as they are also respectful people and maybe some communication occurs when possible. Cooking wise, I try to cook a few times a week, with take-out/leftovers in between. Anything else I missed, do not hesitate to ask!
