I am a single sales manager located in North Austin. I live in a 3BD/2BA townhome in a gated community. GREAT location. Me and my pup are the only residents. My plan is to rent out one of the rooms upstairs and leave the other as a spare. For the most part, anybody interested in this room will have the second floor to themselves. Two closets and a bathroom. I have the lease until next June. So this could be short term, or long, I'm open to whatever. I just really don't want a revolving door of roommates.
I work M-F 8am-5pm. I like my work and am very invested without being uptight. However, during the day, i'm never home. I like to stay active and exercise, but I also appreciate a lazy Sunday or a Friday night in.
I have a 10 month old lab/aussie mix. So I am looking for a dog person! However, he is my responsibility, not yours. He is the sweetest puppy, but still learning. Unfortunately, I can't have another pup in the house at the moment.
I cook a decent amount, but always make extras. I am goofy, sarcastic, and love to laugh. I Also like my alone time. I think all common areas should be clean, and really don't care what your room looks like. Just keep the door shut if you don't want the dog getting into it :)
My usual weekdays look like me waking up at 6:30am (downstairs), run home to let the pup out at lunch, work out after work. come home cook, clean up, walk the pup and watch TV. I love a good bottle of red and comedians on netflix. I try to stay active on weekends and appreciate a night on the town every now and then.
I'm not looking for someone to be attached at my hip, but would rather enjoy my living quarters. I'm looking for a well-balanced roommate in North Austin!
