I am moving out of my current home and need someone to take my room in May, 2023. You would be living with a working professional woman who works from home, as well as her adorable cat. Other pets are not a good idea since this cat is rather skittish.
I have already spoken with the landlords about my plans to move, and the person who takes over my half of the lease would essentially be signing a new lease with my roommate (this would not be a sublet situation).
The rest of the house is already fully furnished, but there is plenty of storage in the garage. The house is one half of a duplex and there is a washer and dryer in the garage, as well.
We are located near West Parmer and Metric, very close to ACC, so this would be perfect for a student. Rent, Internet and Utilities usually total about $2,000 a month, which you would split with your roommate. Since your room would be the smaller of the two bedrooms, my roommate is willing to negotiate less rent on your end. You would have your own bathroom.
If selected, you will need to pass a background check and fill out an application. I am willing to pay the application fee for the right candidate.
