Hi.

My name is Nancy Naughton. I'm 64 yrs-old,in good health and would do need care taking. I'm the only person living here

You would have your own bedroom and the rest is shared. 3 bedrooms,1.5 bath,large kitchen,a family room and a living room, a laundry area and a huge yard. I'm on 1/3 acre in town,in Chatham,IL.

And,due to having a living room and a family room here and your own bedroom,that would give you some areas to be by yourself!

I am a therapist in my own private practice(now part-time) which is all remote,and I am a retired special education teacher. My wifi is in every room,but you may use my office when I'm not working. It will be varied appts on Tuesdays -Thursdays,according to when clients schedule.

I don't mind couples,but as with anyone,you must pass a routine background check and must abide by the same criteria,and due to more utility use,the rent will be $950 a month.

Some of the criteria I can think of right now that I apply to myself when sharing a home(which has never been a random stranger).

** I'm pretty quiet when someone lives with me,but not ridiculous about it.I'd appreciate the same courtesy.

** I do not smoke (quit after 40 yrs,1.5 yrs ago),but I do not care if you smoke outdoors. I dont drink anymore,but my friends do,but I do like to indulge in some THC gummies now and then.

**I have a guy who does my lawn so no outside work is needed,but I expect you to clean up after yourself and assist me in some light cleaning with me(I hate to write that about cleaning up after oneself, but sadly it's not uncommon),and I do the same about keeping my home neat.

** I don't care if you have friends over and the same rules apply, of course.

** My dogs are one of my top priorities,and I don't expect you to entertain them,of course,but I would like a roommate that could watch them once in awhile,especially since my little Schnauzer is 14.

**I would have to approve any animal that you may have, and it must be very well trained and nice with people and my pets. Some type of breeds will not be allowed.

** I have had roommates before that are only here during the week due to just being here for their career and such, so we hardly interacted.

** I call myself an introverted- extroverted person. I love talking, laughing,playing games,and having people over or for a cookout etc,(and you can do the same)and maybe going together places, at times,or just chatting, but at other times,I'm off kayaking,at friend's or other stuff by myself,as I said earlier I do not have to be entertained.

**The rent of $800 or $950 for a couple includes all your utilities. If you have a smaller car in length,you could park your car in the garage or in the driveway...so it would not have to be on the street.

I know this is lengthy, but it's not yet complete. We can talk more as we go along after interviews.
