Hey there! I am 25 and an actor/personal assistant currently living in Brooklyn who is looking to move out of my current apartment into a 2 bedroom with one other roommate somewhere between mid-late January. I am exceptionally clean and am looking for a roommate who has similar high-standards of cleanliness. I treat my home as a place of rest and quiet and I rarely have guests/friends over. Because I do some work out of my apartment (whether it be self-taping for auditions or PA work) I am looking for a roommate who is equally as chill.

I currently have a significant other but he has never once stayed at mine and I don’t expect that to change :) I am often staying at his. If a roommate is dating or has a significant other, I would prefer they have a similar situation to mine so we avoid becoming 3 roommates instead of 2.

I currently have a fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment (couch, coffee tables, stools, carpets etc.) and am looking to keep as much of my furniture as possible without having to sell it. I have spent the last couple years redecorating my home and have impeccable design taste so I am looking for someone who’s taste does not clash with mine and I am even happy to provide photos of my current apartment for you to get a sense of what that taste is! If someone is looking for a place they do not have to furnish, I am your person (I even have an extra bed that I am happy to provide).

I currently have no pets but I am very dog friendly (depending on the type of dog and if they are house trained/quiet etc.) I am pretty much down to help watch a dog and walk a dog if anyone is looking for a pet-friendly roommate. I myself am interested in possibly getting a dog in the future so if anyone is completely adverse to dogs, we might not be a good fit. However, all of this is open to discussion and dependent on the person!

I work odd hours but am usually always busy. I travel and run around the city often so there may be stretches of time I am out of the apartment but when I am home, I am a nester. I am looking for someone with a similar busy lifestyle, with a “go-getter” attitude to avoid being cooped up in the apartment with each other for too long. I am very friendly and love finding roommates that turn into close friends but need an equal balance of professionalism and friendliness to avoid any personal conflicts.

I spend a lot of time in my room and very little time in the bathroom (you won’t find me in there doing makeup for hours at a time...I usually do that in my own room).

I enjoy cooking and often cook for my roommates in exchange for an equal balance of duties around the apartment. Down to drink wine, make you a bomb cocktail, and watch a movie.

I am looking at apartments mostly in nice parts of Brooklyn (Bed Stuy, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene, Williamsburg, Dumbo, etc.) and lower parts of Manhattan (excluding Chinatown and certain parts of the LES). I am also open to looking for places in midtown, UES, UWS and Hamilton Heights/ Washington Heights area but trying to avoid anywhere out of Manhattan and Brooklyn.
