$1399 Huge Williamsburg bdrm! Available Feb. 15th
I am looking for someone (preferably a woman) to fill the large primary bedroom in my colorful and bright 2-bedroom apartment. We are in one of the last quiet and cute corners of Williamsburg, on the border of Greenpoint and just next to East WIlliamsburg/Bushwick.
We're right near so many great spots- Anthony & Sons Panini Shop, Bonnie's, The Richardson, Llama Inn, and McCarren Park are all a few minutes away.
We're a 6 minute walk from the L train at Graham Ave., and about a 15 minute walk from the G at either Nassau Ave. or Metropolitan/Lorimer.
The rent is $1399/month + utilities.
The room (which will be unfurnished) is the main bedroom. It has two windows and lots of light, as it looks out onto our lovely Sycamore tree-lined street.
We have a huge, eat-in kitchen and separate living room.
About me- I'm a woman in my 30s, I work 9-5 at a university in the city (3 days a week in office, 2 days wfh), and I've lived in the area for several years.
I have a small, friendly 15-year old cat named Johnny, so you must love animals/cats! He spends most of his time napping in my room, but he will occasionally chill in the living room. Sorry, no more pets allowed -Johnny loves people but not other cats!
I have a sister and several friends nearby, so I'm usually out and about in the neighborhood during weekends. I go out a bit during the week, but often just come home and crash with Netflix and takeout, etc. I'm pretty tidy in common areas, but not a neat freak. I almost never cook, so I'll never leave a ton of dishes in the sink. I don't mind sharing toilet paper purchasing duties, etc. I love movies, music, museums, comedy, pop culture, animals, reading, and going out to old bars and new restaurants. Very occasionally I'll have my sister or a friend over, but I never "bring the party home". Looking for someone with similar interests, a laid-back personality, and a sense of humor!
Please let me know if you have any questions!
