I'm looking for someone to take over a 1-year lease as my roommate is buying a place and I am renewing for another year. It's the master bedroom in a large, updated, 2BR/3Flex unit in a luxury / doorman building in Fidi.
I'm a young professional working in management consulting, meaning i am traveling to other cities a lot. When i'm here at the apartment, i generally stay in my room to sleep/watch TV and occasionally cook in the kitchen. The other roommate is a young professional male in his late 20s. He works long hours and is often only at the apartment to sleep. It's a quiet apartment and has been a very easy and relaxed living situation for us, and I would like to find someone who is on the same page.

Location is the heart of Fidi, at 71 Broadway (corner of Broadway and Rector). Excellent subway access - literally across the street from the 4/5 local/express and the NRW and 1 trains, and Fulton St is only ~5-6 min walk and has 2,3,4,5,A,C, J, Z.

It is located on the opposite side of the apartment from the flex bedroom and has thick walls and door and thus never gets any noise disturbance.
I've loved living here - after living in tiny pre-war buildings in the Village for a few years, it's a pleasure to come home to a nice, big apartment in a great building.
Rent is $1,987 and the lease begins Oct. 1 We can accomodate a move-in as early as Oct 1st or as late as approx. Oct. 12th.
