-Currently a Master’s student studying clinical psychology (so I need a decent amount of quiet time to study!)
-My main passion is mental healthcare and I do some advocacy work in that realm. Also very passionate about social justice. I research the effects of psychological trauma and also volunteer at a non-profit organization teaching mental wellness and confidence classes to young girls aged 8-14.
-I’ll be starting up an internship soon at a non-profit administering teletherapy so will need some quiet time throughout the day.
-I love doing yoga, collecting plants, hiking/camping/spending time in the outdoors, Netflix, skiing, and reading.
-I love the occasional board game night / wine night with friends but COVID-conscious at the moment so prefer to keep my bubble tight.
-I love to socialize and make new friends, but also enjoy my time at home to be laid back and a place of rest, especially since my grad school studies can be quite demanding at times.

Description:
-NEWLY RENOVATED 2 bedroom apartment in Marpole, walking distance to the Marine Drive skytrain station as well as cafes, restaurants, shops, and parks. Walking distance from bus stops where you can catch the 10, 17, 100, etc.
-Brand new flooring, lighting, new bathroom, kitchen, new paint, etc.
-Bright; lots of windows and even a balcony connected to the living room. The space is not furnished (yet) but I will likely be bringing some furniture along.
-We will share the bathroom, living room, and kitchen. Utility cost will also be split.
-You will have your own bedroom with a spacious closet.
-Lots of street parking, you can also buy a parking spot for ~$20 a month. Coin laundry in the building.
Looking for:
-A roommate (preferably female but don’t mind non-female if it’s a good fit) who is clean, warm-hearted, communicative, and respectful. Quiet at night - especially weeknights.
-Friendly/social and likes to have nice chats, but also can give each other space/down time when at home - a nice balance of both. Not looking for someone who never leaves their room.
-Willing to do regular chores & keep the space clean, comfortable, and sanitized.
-Bonus if eco-conscious and loves plants & decor.
