I’ll be moving to Boston on Aug 1 to start an 11-month AmeriCorps service term teaching writing at a high school in Roxbury. I’m moving from Brooklyn, where I just finished grad school, with a sweet older cat named Pippin and probably not much furniture—just a few essentials for my room. I just turned 28 and will be working quite a bit, but I’m chill and friendly in the apartment. I also write and work for a few presses/magazines as a volunteer, so I keep busy but am down to hang out from time to time.

My max budget is $1000/mo, and I'm ideally looking for a 12-month lease, but can do month-to-month if it's stable. I plan to be in Boston to look at apartments the weekend of the 16th, but am happy to do a call beforehand as well to get to know each other!
