I'm looking for someone to sublet the master bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment in Little Italy from April 1 to July 31 with the option to renew the lease starting on August 1. The bedroom can be furnished for a small surcharge or empty depending on your preference.

In terms of convenience, this location can't be beat. The apartment is located on a quiet street near two parks. 5 minute walk from the Blue Line (Racine) and Pink Line (Polk). Bus lines 7, 9, 60, 126, and 157 are all within a 10 minute walk, as are numerous bars and restaurants on Taylor Street. 15 minutes to Jewel, Costco, and many more bars, restaurants, and shops in the West Loop. The room would be perfect for a young professional working in the Loop or a graduate student at Rush or UIC. Apartment comes with a generous sized basement storage unit. The rent is $875 a month (not including utilities). Gas, internet, and electricity do not cost more than $125 total per month. I can provide monthly estimates on request. Water is included in the rent.

Your roommate is a 23-year old male graduate student who is polite, quiet, and an excellent cook (we've shared quite a few enjoyable meals together). He is away at school most days. Ideally, I'm seeking a roommate who is male and roughly the same age.

What I love about this apartment: Location, gleaming wood floors, light from two exposures, being on the top floor (no need to put down the blinds at any time), historic building, totally updated interior.
