The home is located in the NE of DC about a 3-5 MINUTE walk from the closest BUS and a ten minute walk from another. The bus is very reliable and takes you straight to UNION STATION. The roommates are very KIND, and we often do shopping trips together; they are both LGBTQA+ and PET FRIENDLY. We have PRIVATE PARKING in the backyard with a gate, and parking with a DC license in the front on the roads. It’s a 10 MINUTE WALK from ALDIS, SAFEWAY and CVS. The neighborhood itself, is pretty quiet. There’s also a lot of natural light. The room has a PRIVATE bathroom with a skylight and WATERFALL shower, HIGH CEILINGS,  natural light, built in shelves, and a full closet; it fits a KING. The land lord is really responsive although we haven’t had many issues. It has an in-unit WASHER/DRYER. A full kitchen that was recently RENOVATED so it is very modern, with DISHWASHER, ice maker and water filtered refrigerator; there is a basement living room area as well as one on the main floor level with an additional HALF BATH for guests, a separate dining room and all of the furniture in those common areas has already been purchased. The lease continues into mid-August., but there is an option to renew with the current tenants. If there’s anything else you want to know, please let me know! I’m moving because I got a new job that’s all the way out in Virginia, but honestly would be staying otherwise! Very little street traffic and friendly neighbors.
