My name is Genesis, I’m a 23 year old genderqueer person working in interior design full time, with a volunteer gig doing set design with a drag production company. My hobbies include Dungeons & Dragons, cosplaying, drag shows, painting, digital art, playing video games, and going to concerts.
I like a balanced social life, because as much as I love going out and socializing, I also love cozying up at home just as much. I do like to spend a lot of my time out in the living room where you would be more than welcome to join me. I do quite enjoy hosting people so I have small house parties from time to time and have my friends casually stop by for movie nights or just chilling in the living room pretty frequently. I always make sure to still be mindful of my roommates during this of course, and again you’d always be free to join.
I also have a two-and-a-half year old Shih Tzu named Spock, who is a little bundle of energy but is relatively quiet, only occasionally barking at the sounds of people in the stairwell. He does occasionally like to get ahold of things that aren’t his, so a roommate who keeps clutter to a minimum is a must.

This is a two bedroom apartment on the third floor of a walk-up, with a good sized living room, dining area, and kitchen available for move in ASAP. There is also an extra room in the back with no windows that I use as a craft/storage room, I’m happy to move things around to accommodate anything you may want to do with the extra space.
The bedroom does not come with any furniture in it, but comfortably fits a full-sized bed, and could fit a queen-sized depending on how much other furnishings you have. The closet is decent size and there is also a window AC unit already in the bedroom.
The location has you one block away from Maria-Hernandez park with a 24/7 grocery store across the street and countless amazing bars and restaurants nearby. There are also three laundromats within two blocks, so you won’t have to worry about lugging your laundry far. You can access the rooftop of the building, it’s not a finished rooftop and you do need to prop the door behind you so you don’t get locked out, but it does have amazing views of the nyc skyline.
Rent does not include the energy or gas bill, which fluxuates, but usually lands around $75 per person per month.
