I’m 26 years old and previously lived downtown in Uptown. in april of 2022, my girlfriend and I both had our leases come to an end and moved month to month around the world staying in airbnb’s. I came back to my parents house in Naperville after a sad lil breakup in October, worked on ~myself~, got a puppy and a new job, and am ready to gtfo out of my childhood home and go back downtown lol. thought I would breeze past the puppy part with no further details? no chance. his name is Rocky and he’s a 7 month old morkie that tops the scales at 9 pounds and doesn’t shed. despite his name - he’s a lover, not a fighter. he’s obsessed with every person or animal he’s ever met so he’s a 11/10 good boy. I work from home full-time as a software consultant for a tech company and am super neat. everything has its place, but also happily survived living in a house in college for 3 years with 12 girls so I am very laid back / tolerant of most things. I love watching shows or movies, reading, listening to music, podcasts, cooking, exploring the neighborhoods, going to bars, cranking through a puzzle, being outside, going to concerts, and going to new restaurants! I’m also a lesbian so I’m always happy to add some diversity to a group (mainly a joke since I’m white as shit). my downfall is that I’m allergic to cats. I love to travel! most of my friends have moved away and either no longer live in Chicago or never did lol so I’m definitely hoping to get along with my roommates and be friends!
