I’m pretty easy going, like to keep it neat but not obsessively, and overall I think a good roommate! I’m a professional musician, but I’ve got a separate practice spot so I don’t play in the apartment much. I’m usually on the go, so only at home so often.
I don’t have friends over particularly often, maybe once or twice a month. No parties, but obviously happy for you to have people over so long as it’s respectful and communicated! If you have a significant other who may sometimes stay overnight, let’s keep it to 2-3 nights a week so it’s not their primary residence (I’m single at the moment so you’re safe from me there atm haha!).

Hello! I’m searching for a new roommate to sign a 1 year lease starting August 1. The apartment is located on the edge of Bushwick and Williamsburg, 2.5 blocks from the Montrose Ave L train and 10-12 min walk from Broadway G and Flushing J/M stops.
Very cool and unique apartment! Freestanding cottage behind the main building. Quiet, peaceful, private, it’s a nice place!
A few features:
- Private Yard! Patio with table/couch and nice shady yard area are private to this unit only.
- The available bedroom comfortably fits a full bed plus standing wardrobe, dresser, and desk. Will come empty other than the tall wardrobe.
- Private entrance hallway from the street - the main building has two front doors, pictured hallway is for this apt only and leads to the backyard. Hallway has plenty of storage, as does the private basement area (not pictured).
- Musician Friendly! Shares no walls with other units, so no problem to practice during the day within reason (I’m a professional percussionist and drummer, though I have a separate practice spot and don’t play in the apartment much)
- Single owner/operator landlord, this is my third year with him and any issues are always fixed quickly
- Multiple laundromats/grocery stores within a couple block radius
- $1450 Rent, utilities not included.
