I go by Ari, and I'm a ceramics instructor and the manager of a pottery studio in NODA. I also bartend on the side for extra cash. LOOKING FOR ROOMMATE- $700/month for a spacious room in a 3 story duplex, 5 minute walk from Plaza Midwood. 12 month lease (ideally starting Aug. 1st)
Features a yard with a firepit, a washer & dryer, and on-site parking. Rent is currently only $1400/month before utilities. Pet friendly for most animals (dogs under 45lbs). Second bedroom is unfurnished (the room shown has my old roommate's furniture in it). Common area is mostly furnished, but if something doesn't fit there's a lot of storage space
The proximity to Plaza & NODA combined with the cheap rent AND the amount of space this place has makes it a STEAL. I've lived here the past year and it's been one of the best living situations I've ever had. The people next door in the duplex are super chill and cool, and they'll often join outside for a fire. Being able to walk home from the bars, or hop across the street to the Harris Teeter is fantastic. You really can't ask for better, if a neighborhood house vibe is your style.
