Looking to fill 1 bedroom with third roommate in spacious LIC apartment

We are aspiring roommates (a guy and girl in our early 30s) looking for a third roommate to share an apartment in the heart of LIC. Move-in would fall between mid-October to early November. We are looking at a modern condo building that we’re submitting an application for. The unit is located on the top floor of a mid-rise, just a couple minutes walking distance from Court Square (7, G, E, F, M). The apartment is an incredibly spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom that’s 1,100 square feet. Initially we were going to flex the living room to make a third bedroom, but the unit features an additional, fully-enclosed third room that will serve as a bedroom. The dimensions are 8’11 x 9’2 so it could fit up to a full sized bed, includes a large window, and an external closet. You would be sharing the bathroom with the girl.

The building comes with AMAZING amenities: in-unit washer and dryer, all Bosch appliances (LUXURY 🙂), a 24 hr accessible gym with free weights, cardio machines and weight machines … Friendly doormen, bike storage, cold storage, rooftop deck with an unobstructed view of Manhattan, and a HUGE living room area that we can actually. use. as. a. living. ROOM! There’s a bunch of local restaurants, a 15 minute walk to Gantry riverside park, MOMA PS1, rock climbing and sculpting classes near by - something for everyone in this neighborhood. There are two supermarkets near by and a Trader Joe’s is opening locally within the next year!

As far as your potential roomies: We both are career-oriented, concert-loving, laughter-conceiving foodies that enjoy travel, reading, electronic music, and political debate. One of us is introverted while the other is extroverted, so we can offer balance to all dynamics 🙂 We value cleanliness, (we plan to hire a bi-weekly cleaning service), friendliness, and open communication. We both work in media and have M-F schedules, one between 10am - 7pm, the other 2pm - 12am. We hope to find a mature roommate with stable income that jives well with us — If you’re not looking to make new friends, that’s totally okay … Respecting each other in our living quarters is top priority.
