I'm a proud, first-generation Mexican-American who also speaks French, as I attended the French-American School of New York. I am easygoing, a night owl more than an early bird, don't smoke, drink socially, and enjoy working out, reading memoirs and fantasy novels, and binge-watching crime dramas or stand-up comedy!

The private bedroom inside this apt (which has 2 floors in total including a basement and a 2nd bathroom) is in the back-left corner of the apt (1 window, facing side patio/terrace that includes table and chairs plus grill for summer). This apt is located just a short walk (~ 4-5 min) from the Wilson Ave. L subway stop. There is also a bus stop on Wilson Ave nearby, but buses are not as reliable as the subway. There are 2 small grocery stores (including 1 organic market) just a short walk away on Wilson Ave. Larger supermarket (Pioneer) is about ~ 13 min walk on Broadway Ave. No laundry units in building but public Laundromat is located right across the street on the corner. (need quarters or a laundry card) Free parking is available on the street. Hot water is included in rent, other utilities (gas, electric, Wifi) are separate and usually come to between $150-$250/person/month altogether, depending on use/season. Contact the main roommate who has been here the longest and knows the space/neighborhood well for more details/to pay him for your share. I signed a one-year lease but this may be flexible, be sure to speak with landlord to confirm/for more details.
Fun dining/nightlife spots in the area include The Tiny Cupboard Comedy Club, Father Knows Best cafe-bar, Salud bar, and Purgatory (LGBTQ+-friendly nightclub/bar). Irving Square Park and St. Martin of Tours Roman Catholic Church are also a short walk away off Wilson Ave.
2 current other occupants are young guys in their 30s, both have particularly late-night schedules, especially 1 one of them. One of them works entirely remotely from home, the other works in person.
