I have lived in New York City for 20 years and have been teaching high school English at a private school in Manhattan for 20 years. I am going through a separation with my wife and need a place during this transition. I want to stay in Brooklyn to be close to my son. I don't smoke, but I occasionally have a beer or a bourbon. I am a bit introverted but do like to engage in all kinds of conversation. I read, listen to music and NPR. I love to cook and am not vegan or vegetarian. I love to ride my bike around Brooklyn, do yoga, and go on runs. An after-dinner walk is a favorite of mine. My church is attending one of two or both farmer's markets on Saturday. I think of myself as a thoughtful roommate who looks after his mess, washes the dishes, and rinses out the shower/bathtub.
