Sophie L - $2,000/month

Hi I’m Sophie! I’m looking for a roommate to move into NYC with as soon as possible (preferably October or November). My budget is $2,000 (but willing to go slightly higher). Looking at UES, LES, Midtown area, Chelsea, Lenox Hill, Murray Hill and Turtle Bay areas.

So a little about me: I graduated from American University in 2021 with a degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Marketing and Spanish. I currently work at one of WPP's agencies, Wavemaker as a Senior Associate on the Video Investment team and am now currently working on a hybrid schedule working some days from home and others in the office. My goal is to go into the office more often though when I move into the city.

When it comes to hobbies, I love to travel and learn new languages and immerse myself in different cultures (i.e., I can speak Spanish and am trying to learn others as well). I also consider myself an avid photographer and am always taking photos on the go whenever I can. You will always catch me with some type of camera on me at all times! Being from Long Island and living so close to the city, I enjoy trying new coffee shops, brunch places, going to museums and the LI beaches and love looking for the best places for Happy Hour in the city.
