Hi! My name is Ceyda, and I’m looking for a female-identifying, liberal, and non-smoking roommate in her twenties to share my 2 bedroom 2 bathroom Navy Yard apartment with this October!

About me: I am 26 years old and work as an artist (@uglybyceyda) and child therapist with a focus on childhood trauma. I am super creative—painting, writing, all that (you’ll see my pop-art pieces around the apartment but happy to keep them in my room if ever requested!) I love to watch movies, read, go to museums, and craft. I love to spend time with my friends while also being mainly introverted.

What I am looking for in a roommate:
I’m looking for someone responsible, especially with money/bills, kind, and considerate. It is very important for shared spaces to remain clean. I would like someone who is open to friendship whilst also being okay with us having a majority of our time being individual. I’d like to stay away from big groups/gatherings occurring at the apartment other than on rare occasions. However, my building does have multiple public spaces you could use for hosting.
I am looking for a safe home environment. Safety (physical, emotional, etc.) is my number one priority. It is important that there is absolutely no smoking of any kind in the unit and none to minimal drinking. I would prefer for no alcohol to be kept in the apartment outside of rare occasion.

Unfortunately I cannot live with pets.

Costs for roommate:
1 bedroom and 1 private bathroom
Rent: $1526 + utilities
Building has $50 application fee
You will need to purchase your own renter’s insurance

Building features: 2 gyms, rooftop pool, 24 hour concierge, attached cafe, common rooms, fob-required entry
