Hey :) I am 29 and live with my amazing and extensively trained and intelligent, 6 y/o Australian Shepherd mix, George.

A little about me, my career, my habits, my preferences, and my dog, in that order:

My work/career:

I have been in a transitional phase building a career and platform through YouTube over the past year, so my day-to-day life is definitely in flux. But generally speaking, at the moment, to supplement my growing channel and business,!I am working part-time at Pacific Northwest Shop right now, about 2-3 days a week (6 hour shifts) and leave my dog at home when I go. He is house-trained and sleeps when I’m gone, unless he forms a relationship with whoever is home. Then he would be so happy to provide/get some company. But he’s good either way. Beyond work at the shop, I also do occasional flexible dog walking/sitting, babysitting, and household chore gigs. Those will range from 30 min to several hours in the day. They are much less predictable. If I ever have to leave George for more than 8 hours, I will have a friend watch him. That is extremely rare though.

Outside of my local work, I am growing and maintaining a career and platform through a YouTube channel I created in March 2025. I spend a lot of my time planning, creating, and editing videos, writing, or working on systems for my service offerings. Generally, I will edit videos at home in my own quiet private space and when around other people will always wear AirPods. but if I do go out to work, I will go to a cafe and generally take George.

My habits:

I am a pretty focused, pretty introverted person. I love to connect though, and definitely prefer a warm environment that feels welcoming and supportive. I am also a very clean person and like when things stay organized and respectful for everyone. I always aim to wash my dishes right after using them so they are clean and available for others, I keep all the spaces clean, and generally won’t take up too much of shared space in my everyday life. Occasionally, I may have a friend or boyfriend over or something, but we will always be quiet and respectful of the space. I am an early to bed, early to rise person and very rarely stay up late.

My preferences:

I pretty much prefer all of the same as the above: warm but focused people who are open to friendship but driven or focused on their career, a balance of introversion/extraversion, cleanliness and respect for each other and the space, shared responsibilities, etc. I also do prefer no other dogs but George, but would be open to considering if the dog is extremely friendly and gentle.

George: I adopted George as a 3 month old pup during Covid in New Jersey back in Covid. He is a special dog. Smarter than most people and knows it, off-leash trained, clean (and keeps himself that way), and has an all-round gentle and quiet demeanor. He is just genuinely a great dog to have around. He has flown on airplanes with me, takes public transport, moved across the country multiple times and is just a very resilient guy, always up for the adventure and eager to win you over. His energy level I would say is moderate but we are very active together and go on lots of walks during the day whenever I’m not working.
