I'm in my 30s and work from home during the week. I keep busy with activities (mostly in the mountains) on the weekends. I've always had roommates and prefer living with other people and have never had issues with a roommate in the past. I enjoy conversation and community in the common areas but do need quiet during working hours. In my mind, the most important thing for a potential roommate is being responsible and respectful. They need to understand that they are sharing a space with other people and be willing to contribute to keep the house clean and comfortable for everyone.
