I'm a laidback, friendly, responsible queer writer and artist in my 30s looking for a room to rent this spring in Austin on a month to month basis.

I tend to keep to myself but enjoy being friends with roommates - dinners, grabbing a beer/food, etc together. I work 9-5 for a tech company so I tend to go to bed by midnight during the week and looking for other roommates on a similar schedule.

In my free time I'm usually riding my bike, going on a walk/hike, going to shows, yoga, hanging with friends, or traveling. I have a sweet cattle dog mix named Rodeo but I split him with my ex so while I am looking for a place that's pet friendly, he wouldnt necessarily be at the house all the time - he's very smart and completely trained/housebroken.

I am way past living in any sort of party house and looking for roommates who take care of their messes, can communicate well, take initiative, and treat their home as a calm, welcoming space to come back to. Totally down for bonfires/dinner parties/etc from time to time, again just about communication :)
