Six Flags is roughly 10 minutes, The Battery about 15, and downtown Atlanta 20-25 on I-285 and I-20. You can make this work without a car. CobbLinc Routes 30 and 25 both run to MARTA's H.E. Holmes station, the west end of the Blue Line, which gets you a straight ride to downtown, Midtown and the airport.
