About Me

I'm Gwenevere (she/her) and my Roommate, Bowie (they/them) and I are renting a room in our beautiful home. We also have a sweet cat named November.

After ten years in NYC theatre, I started a career in education and I am currently a Special Ed Teacher to High School students with severe autism in the Bronx. I met Bowie through our mutual Shakespeare geekery at The Shakespeare Forum. Bowie has been in the city for six years, studying and working in theatre, and they are currently The Shakespeare Forum's social media marketing manager and working at a homeless shelter.

We are both tidy, drama-free, super queer-friendly, considerate, and responsible (especially as it comes to following guidelines re:covid). We are 420 friendly but keep it contained, and while we love to host small gatherings (in pre-covid days, anyway), we aren't party animals, and our building complex is generally quiet & calm. Kindness and Communication are key to our roomie relationship. We take pride in maintaining a safe, warm, welcoming energy in the apartment and hope to find someone who will contribute to that.
