THE SPACE
We moved into our newly renovated apartment two years ago. The neighbors are super nice - we actually just had a joint halloween party!
We have a fairly large living area with exposed brick and plenty of seating and the kitchen has a full sized fridge, microwave, toaster oven and all those things.
Other amenities include a TV + Chromecast, dining table with room for 8, a new sectional that can sleep 2 if you've ever got visitors, a robotic korean bidet toilet, etc.
The room itself faces the street and gets a fair amount of light. It fits a full size bed but you can probably macgyver a queen if you really *really* wanted to.
The lease is up in March and there is possibility to renew.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
We chose this apartment specifically for its great subway connections. We're 5 minutes from the Franklin Ave 2345 + S. The S connects to the AC and BQ. So we're *technically* close to not one...not two...but KINDA NINE (!) subway connections-ish.
But besides that - Crown Heights is pretty alright! Prospect park, the botanical gardens and the brooklyn museum are all within walking distance. First saturdays at the museum are awesome.
The best cake in all of NYC (in my opinion) is at Butter & Scotch just a few blocks down. This great tiki place is a few blocks in the other direction. We've got bougie pizza (Solange has been there š
š¾) + a great bagel place on the same block. Tom's Diner which is like, legitimately famous, is down the street. And there's a whole smorgasbord of bars and restaurants in the area. Also Crown Heights is a very Caribbeanan community, so you'll definitely have your fill of doubles and roti.

ROOMMATE PREFERENCES
Emily, Anthony and I are all very different but fit together super well - sort of like ...a...fine........pasta salad?....(idk what that metaphor was, but stay with me), but Anthony is moving away to Europe so we need a new bud.
Honestly we're not too picky - we just want someone respectful, clean, sociable and fun. We're all fairly independent and lead our own lives, but we're very comfortable around each other (and our friends) so it'd be great to have someone who brings something new and great into our lives, and hopefully we do the same for you!
No pets, no couple please and no smoking inside the apartment please. I'm gay, 420 and drinking happens, we throw a party every few months and love celebrating birthdays and we have a very diverse group of comrades that are always welcome. If you aren't down with any of that, then you can't join our pasta salad (sorry, I feel like i had to keep it going)
