Cute 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house in San Pablo Park area. Nice kitchen with antique gas stove, small well maintained backyard and street parking. There is an old free standing garage at the back of the property that is used for storage and a work space. The room is 11.5x12 and has a small closet.

Walking distance from Berkeley Bowl West and there are many small markets around the neighborhood as well as a small Target less than a mile away.

Rent $1300 per person plus half of the internet and pg&e. Deposit is $1250 and if the owner approves a pet there is no additional charge. The property owner will do a background check a d reference checks. Available September 1st.

Current residents

April-quirky, quiet woman in her 40’s. I work full time with the public and so enjoy light socializing, but like things mostly quiet. Movies. Reading. Walking. Video games. Board games. Hiking. Cooking. Mostly nerdy and pretty introverted. I am clumsy and have been known to drop things in the kitchen or bathroom early in the morning while trying to be quiet.

Tori and Ivy-indoor only cats. Tori is a friendly, vocal 16 year old that likes naps, her toy mouse, eating the shower curtain and sneaking outside to eat grass. Ivy is a sweet and fluffy, loves to stare out of windows, loses her mind if a moth gets in the house and is very shy.

Other Details

Rent is paid directly to the property owner. Closet/cabinet space in common areas will be split. I have a washer and dryer, but the couch will go with the previous resident so if you have a furniture there is room for a small couch or arm chairs.

There isn’t any television service, just internet, but you can get your own cable if you like. For the most part you will need your own cookware and kitchenwares.

The yard service is taken care of by the property owner with the exception of watering the plants weekly in the summer and less in the winter. I have my own plants that I care for and there is space if you also like gardening.
