About Me

Hi! I'm currently living in Washington Heights and pumped to move sooooomewhere in Brooklyn late spring/early summer this year.

My top priorities as a roommate are respect, communication, and general thoughtfulness. I have a lovely roommate now but they're leaving the country at the end of our current lease.

The Roommate Experience can go a lot of different ways and be positive despite those differences. I'm open to building real friend chemistry with someone or simply sharing a space and having separate lives. The most important thing to me (I think?) is that an apartment be an equitable home where we're both safe and happy. I want to live in a space that's welcoming to the people in my life and the people in yours.

Major interests are academic-type nerd shit (sometimes I get hot and heavy with the idea of going to grad school), college football (Go Blue!), cooking elaborate meals for friends (usually once every few weeks), walking and biking around this amazing city, traveling to new places and back to my hometown, going to a concert or club every now and then, trying new restaurants, general yuppy shit ya?

Politically I tend to be progressive, but an important part of that entails sensitivity toward others and acknowledging that differences in belief are natural. Life is dialectical! I tend to get along with grad student writer types and have often lived with/befriended them over the years, so if that sounds like you, let's chat! :)
