About Me

I feel like I’m one of the few people who have had amazing luck with roommates. I tend to become very good friends with the people I live with.

I am passionately curious, health conscious, active, social, and easy going. I have a good sense of humor, and I laugh a lot. I am not easily offended. I am an overall happy and positive person.

I’m kind of hoping you can be both a study buddy and a workout partner. If not, that’s okay too.

I will be in NYC in mid-July looking at places. I’m hoping to get a lease by August. Ideally, I’d love to find a place in West Village with one or two other girls. But as long as I am within 30ish minutes of NYU, I’ll be pretty happy.

I am very motivated and driven, I get intensely focused when I’m working or studying. School will always come first for me, but that doesn’t mean I can’t have a glass of wine or two while working on projects. I also highly value my time to explore (when I’m not studying). I want to see every part of the city, all the parks, restaurants, bars, and culture.

I’ll honestly probably stay in studying most nights, but when I do go out, I love to dance. If we are at a bar with dancing, it will be hard for me not to dance. I’ve been dancing my whole life.

I am a quiet roommate. I won’t stomp around next to your bedroom door, play music, or bang pots and pans while you sleep. I am hoping you would be similar. That being said, if we are hanging out, or we have some free time, feel free to blast your music.

I am currently in the middle of a gap year before I start my masters. I took the time off to travel. I’ve been to 33 countries and I love to learn about culture and other people’s perspectives and world views. I am a very understanding person. I am not a religious person, but I don’t mind if you are.

I love to cook. I care about nutrition, and I’d love it if you did too. I am almost obsessively clean when it comes to the dishes and the kitchen. If you leave your dishes out every once in a while, It’s really no big deal, but if it’s constant or daily, It may drive me a little nuts. Keeping tidy is important to me. The messiest part about me is how I study, which I’ll be conscious to keep out of sight or hidden in my room, and clean up after I am done.

I have a tiny well-behaved cat that purrs excessively and loves people.
