Chae W L - $3,200/month

I'm moving from Seattle this winter (flexible move-in date) and have lived in Washington, California, Massachusetts over the last 10 years and looking to find a new home in New York.

I'll be working in midtown (in-office 3x/week) so looking for places with an easy commute (30min or under) or a neighborhood that I could really vibe with with a slightly worse commute (must be under 1 hour still). I love cooking, so would be great to live very close to a great grocery store in a safe neighborhood with lots of great food/coffee options.
I'm thinking it would be ideal 2b/2b with another roommate in a newer building in LIC, Brooklyn along the 2/3/A/C lines but open to other neighborhoods.

As a roommate I'm tidy, responsible, respectful. You'll usually find me unwinding by cooking, watching tv, reading, etc after work. Since I'm new to the city, I expect to be exploring over the weekends and would ideally love to be friends with my roommate and do occasional dinners and social outings together.
I'm sadly allergic to cats and don't smoke and prefer a roommate that doesn't either.
