My current roommate is taking an overseas assignment at the beginning of next year, so I'm looking for someone to live with me in my two bedroom, two bath condo in Lakeview East.
I'm a mid 30s professional. I'm low-key guy and keep the condo decently clean, but I definitely enjoy going out and having a good time. I like cooking, grilling out, live music, running outside by the lake, travelling, street festivals, etc.

About Your Room
Your bedroom is a pretty big at 15' x 10' and has an incredible lake view. It easily has enough room for a queen mattress (you could fit a king too), dressers and desk. It has good closet space with a built-in closet organization system. You will have use of your own bathroom, which is right across the hall from your door.
About the Condo
The condo is a corner unit on the top floor and gets a ton of light in the morning and throughout the day through its east and south exposures. There are expansive views of the lake, city and Lincoln Park. The living area is mostly furnished, but there's room for some furniture if you'd like to bring some. The condo has hardwood floors throughout, window unit air conditioning units, radiant heat floors and good water pressure.
About the Building
There is a night doorman who begins their shift at 9:00 p.m. There is a bus stop in front of the building with lots of busses going to the Loop (134, 143, 151, 156). There is also a GoGrocer in the building, accessible without going outside. If you're willing to venture out, Walmart, 24-hour Walgreens, Mariano's and XSport are a 5 minute walk; Trader Joes' and the lakefront are a 10 minute walk; the Brown Line is a 15 minute walk. There are a ton of great restaurants and shops close by on Broadway, Clark and Diversey. It's an awesome area and I am sure you will love it too.
Laundry is coin-operated on-site. The building has a workout room and party room. There's a pretty awesome rooftop deck with grills and furniture that feels like the unit's own because it is one flight of stairs away (or you can also take the elevator up one floor haha).
About the Lease
The rent for your room will be $1,150. Utilities are split 50/50, so your share would be between $30-$60 depending how hot or cold it is. I own an indoor valet parking spot and am currently leasing it to someone in the building, but would be happy to offer it to whomever rents the room for an additional fee.
