Me as a roommate: I’m a professional in my early 30s who prefers a calm apartment. I’m considerate and thoughtful. I’m very clean, and looking for someone who is excited to create a clean, calm, supportive apartment with me. I’m pretty busy, and often out of the apartment at least twice a week in the evenings and part of weekends, and I usually travel out of town for the weekend once every month or two. I work from home so am hoping to find someone who regularly works out of an office, as having two folks take calls from the same space can be really tough!
Looking for in a roommate: I’m looking for someone kind, considerate, thoughtful, with a positive outlook on life who’s organized and has their shit together. I’m very clean, and looking for someone who is excited to create a clean, calm, supportive apartment with me. I prefer overnight guests for a maximum stay of two nights in a row, and ideally only once or twice a month. I’m happy to have people over a couple of times a month for things like watching Game of Thrones, movie nights, etc, but generally prefer to keep the apartment to ourselves.

Gorgeous Sunlight Room Available in 2 Bedroom in Prospect Heights!
Hello! My roommate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to sign an August 1st one-year lease with me on a gorgeous two-bedroom apartment in Prospect Heights. Here’s some information, and I can’t wait to meet you and show you around the place.
Location: The apartment is just off the Bergen stop on the 2/3, and about two blocks away from the 2,3,4,5,N,Q at Atlantic Ave – Barclays, walking distance from tons of great bars and restaurants, and walking distance from Prospect Park.
Amenities: There’s laundry in the unit! Also a dishwasher, a gas stove, nice built-in microwave, a full fridge, big living and dining space, and nice details throughout the apartment (subway tile, fireplace, wood floors, etc). The apartment is prewar and has thick walls, so it’s quiet and peaceful. The bedrooms are far apart from each other on opposite ends of the apartment, and the bathroom separates the living room from the open bedroom, which also keeps noise to a minimum. The bathroom is big, great shower, a window looking out over the park, and ample storage in the bathroom.
Room: The room is big (space for a queen bed, two dressers, bedside table, etc) and gets tons of light from the big window facing the back of the apartment and from a smaller window on the side facing the park. The window looks out onto some lovely trees that bloom in the spring and are nice and peaceful. The room has one closet in the room and also the hall closet.
Money stuff: The rent on the apartment is $3350 – you’ll pay $1650 and I’ll pay $1700 since my bedroom is larger. Heat and hot water are included in the rent. Electricity, internet, and gas average around $140 per month, and we’ll split those evenly. Looking for someone who’s responsible about rent and bills each month.
