Hi there!
We’re looking for an easygoing roommate to fill (1) bedroom in our beautiful 3BR apartment in Clinton Hill starting August 1 to June 30, 2021 with the option to re-sign!
Room: $1,177 (utilities not included, usually ~$75/month) + security deposit
Move-in date: August 1, 2020
About the room:
• Fits a twin or full sized bed + additional side tables/drawer or storage systems
• Tall window (faces the wall of the neighboring building but gets decent natural light)
• Closet with shelving (easy to fit additional storage systems)
• Accent brick wall
• Individual A/C unit
About the apartment:
• Great management communication (if you’ve lived in NY you know that’s rare!)
• Prime location! ~6 minutes to the G to get to Williamsburg/Greenpoint and ~9 minutes to the C to get you to Chinatown/NYU/and beyond
• Beautiful neighborhood with lots of great coffee shops, restaurants, bars, bodegas/grocery stores within walking distance
• Walkable to both Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park for farmers markets and general fun :)
• Renovated Kitchen + dishwasher + TONS of storage (no microwave)
• Central A/C in all rooms
• 3rd floor walk-up

Who we’re looking for:
• LONG TERM COMMITMENT

Jasmine (me)! I'm a 26 y/o math tutor, fresh out of grad school (at last!). I love reading, playing guitar (I will not subject anyone to Wonderwall, don't worry -- I try to just play when no one's around!), listening to records, and going on long walks around the neighborhood.
Jia Yee! She's a 26 y/o designer for a small Brooklyn-based, woman-owned sustainable clothing brand. She's multi-talented at many endeavors, from making kombucha from scratch, block printing, or taking film photos (recently also have gotten into baking bread!). She's Mochi’s mom, a loving 2 year old cat who loves to cuddle and bounce off walls.
Jia Yee and I have been living together for the last two years and have a great roommate relationship; always down to chat and have good conversations, but also allow each other the space we each need. We’d love to find someone who fits into that dynamic :)
