$1385 Female roommate in FiDi - Oct 1 - Apr 30
We are looking for a roommate to sublet one of our furnished rooms. The previous occupant, in the pictures, had to suddenly move back to Asia because her parents are not doing well. The move-in date is October 1st. The sublet is 6 months to April 30th with a strong possibility of taking over the lease or extending. The apartment is right down the street from 1 World Trade, the Oculus, the Fulton Center, and South Seaport in an amazing neighborhood in the Financial District. The building is around 8 years old and is a door-man/amenity building. Tons of perks in this building and location:
- Access to 1,2,3,4,5,6, A, C, J, Z trains
- Subway is half a block away
- Amenity building with elevator, rooftop, lounge, gym, trash chute and laundry
- Doorman 24/7
- New building
- View of the Brooklyn Bridge
- 5-minute walk to the water
- Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants around the corner
The room is furnished and expertly designed by One Kings Lane. It was originally featured in the One Kings Lane blog as well as Refinery29. The bed in the picture was a very small day bed. The room has since been updated with a very comfortable queen-sized bed. The apartment is a 2 bedroom flexed into 3 with a cozy living room. You will be living in the flexed room with a huge window and your own heating/cooling unit. You will get the massive closet just outside of the room, and share a spacious bathroom with one other roommate. Rent is $1385 per month, not including utilities. The security deposit is 1 month's rent. You will have to pass a background check and a salary check. So, you must be employed. It is a requirement of the management company and everyone goes through it. So, at least you know that the building is safe.
