We are two professionals in our 30s looking for a third housemate. We are politically left wing and support the bodily autonomy and basic human rights of all people. We host a weekly game night where we play Dominion, Codenames, Exploding Kittens, Jackbox games, etc. We like to talk about politics, technology, science, video games, and mental health. We have friends who occasionally visit and stay over for a night or two. We leave our Halloween and Pride decorations up all year.
The Residents:
* John lives in the master bedroom. He is a software engineer that enjoys building things, from soldering together custom keyboards to assembling server clusters. Generally reserved, he is an avid gamer (both tabletop and video) and fan of strange beers.
* Jessica lives in the bedroom adjacent to the available bedroom. She is an extroverted software engineer who likes gaming, writing, dancing, car camping, and hosting events. She has lived in San Jose for almost her whole life and has deep roots here.
* Mia is Jessica’s cat. Sadly, she’s not big on being pet.
For the right cultural fit, our future housemate must be pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ rights, anti-racist, anti-fascist, etc. We are hoping to find someone who wants to occasionally join for game nights. Let me know if you are interested in this room!

The available bedroom shares one full bathroom and one half bathroom. Our future housemate will have full reign of all garden beds and the garden shed (if desired) and 100 sqft dedicated common space for whatever they want (in-home office, personal gym, etc).
The House: ~2000 sqft. 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms. Lots of common space – two living rooms, dining room, laundry room, garage, and fenced backyard. We use the living room with the huge bay window as a communal office space. Half the office is open to be used as a workspace by our new housemate (roughly 10’ x 10’). We currently have fiber internet, a symmetric 1 gigabit connection ideal for web hosting.
The Room: The available bedroom has a sunny garden-facing window, a built-in wall shelving unit, two light fixtures, and a standard closet. It’s sized at 9’10” x 11’10” (116 sqft).
The Location: A safe, quiet neighborhood less than 10 minutes’ drive from Costco, Safeway, Sprouts, Oakridge, and downtown Campbell. We are within biking distance of Foxworthy Shopping Center. There is always ample street parking near the house. Several of the neighbors are particularly kind to us.
