About Me

I have most recently been a full time law professor in Boston, where I have had an interesting and varied career in the law: Judge, trial and appellate attorney, mediator/arbitrator; lots of friends; some family. I am transitioning to the NYC/Brooklyn area, as my son lives in Williamsburg and we are very close. Although I may be "older" chronologically, I am very youthful and live a full, happy life. To me, age is but a number. I am very active professionally and personally, healthy, fit, and curious about the world. I will be teaching part time at Brooklyn Law School during academic year 2018-2019 and I am particularly interested in finding a roommate or more in Brooklyn. I am a very mature, respectful and cooperative person, still own a condo in Boston with my ex-wife. I am tidy and clean and not obsessive compulsive. Yes, I make my bed every morning, I clean up after myself and help others in the kitchen and elsewhere. I love museums, movies, reading, travel, exercise, sports, adventures. I grew up in the 60's. I am a fun, easy person to be around, friendly and warm. I grew up the first 11 years of my life in a vibrant and small Jewish community in Havana. I have run an academic exchange with the University of Havana, taught in Sweden and I have travelled widely and love exploring. I know how to be alone and enjoy the company of and events with others. I recently rented a house share, with a lease, until March 31, 2019. Although it seems a long way off, I am looking for an April 1, 2019 start date, or could be March 1 or May 1, 2019. I would prefer at least one year, furnished or unfurnished. For the right situation I am willing to give a "loose it" deposit. Let me know if you would like to know more, glad to share.
