Unfurnished room with ample closet space for rent in a beautiful 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom row house in NE Capitol Hill!
- Rent is $960/mo
- Utilities (gas, electric, water, and Verizon high speed internet) are about ~$100/mo and are not included with the rent. Central A/C and heat.
- Security deposit ($790) due upon move-in.
- Flexible move-in date. I am aiming for April 1 or earlier.
- I am looking for someone to sublet until September with the option of renewing the lease at that time.
- No pets allowed.
This is a great neighborhood on a safe, quiet street but close enough to transit, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. so you have the best of both worlds! I have lived in this house for over 7 years and you will not find a better deal in this neighborhood for the size of our house and location!

About the house:
- You will share the hallway bathroom with one other female roommate. The bathroom was redone in 2014 and has a very large tub/shower.
- The other roommate has the master bedroom with his own bathroom.
- In-unit w/d, which are brand new as of 2018.
- Downstairs contains the living space (which is huge, with high ceilings), a half bathroom with a utility closet, and a kitchen with a lot of pantry space and room for a breakfast nook.
- We have backyard, which is pretty large for this area.
About the neighborhood:
- Located in NE Capitol Hill within walking distance to H Street, Eastern Market (blue/orange/silver lines), and Union Station (red line).
- There are multiple bus lines as well including the D6 which drops off on this street. Other routes include the 90/92/93, 96, X8, X2, and B2.
- You can walk to multiple grocery stores including Giant, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Safeway, and Aldi.
