Looking for a third amigo for our crazy apt, June 1 move-in, 1-year lease!

We have a crazy amazing 3 bed/2 bath pad with wrap-around balconies on the 17th floor facing the Manhattan skyline with floor-to-ceiling glass walls on west/east/south exposures (best possible angle for the most natural light)...and the best part is it's just in time for the July 4th fireworks on the East River this year, which you can watch right from the balcony. Can't tell you how excited we are to move in. The rooms are all about 11x10 so a really good size and come with closets. There is a kitchen island, rainshowers, etc.

The building is literally one or two blocks away from the E/M/G/7 subway lines and is one stop away from Manhattan (literally right across the river). If you work in Midtown East, your commute will be 5-10 minutes and one subway stop (which is why I personally decided to move out here). If you work in Brooklyn or Queens, you'll be 15-20 minutes, depending on where.

Tons of great bars, speakeasies and awesome places to eat like Mu Ramen, M.Wells, etc. Up and coming, kind of reminds you Brooklyn almost a decade ago.

WHO WE ARE

We are two 25-year olds (dudes I might add) from back in school (we were actually random freshman roommates, been hanging out ever since). We care a lot about a few things that you should be aware of: cooking for our friends (hold big dinners/bbqs for our friends all the time), chasing craft beer (we routinely drive 6 hours roundtrip every month to pick up our favorites from Vermont/Mass), TRAVELING (if you hate spontaneity, roadtrips and the great outdoors/nature, maybe not the best fit because we...like to organize trips with our friends a lot), working on creative side projects, playing equal parts pranks and board games, and...making lots of fun of each other. In other words, good food, good places, good people.

We are pretty obsessed with keeping things clean, but at the same time, our unspoken goal is to never find ourselves having to ask someone to clean after themselves. If you're washing your dishes and you see other people's dishes in there (very common situation), we're the type of apartment where you do them all while you're at it, whether they are yours or not, no questions asked. Good vibes, no awkwardness.

In terms of personality, we're both from California (one from LA, one from SD) so naturally very, very chill. We're also very spontaneous, a bit quirky/weird, love to goof around, and very easy to get along with.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Most important for us, we'd like to live with someone who is not just a tenant in our apartment i.e. someone who is interested purely in just having a bed to sleep in. We've found that it leads to very awkward environments in our home and ruins the good vibe we work so hard to maintain. So to this extent, we'd love someone who is interested in making new friends and hanging out/joining the squad.

We're also looking for someone who is not in finance or consulting (no offense if you are!), loves to travel, is 420 friendly, loves having people over, is very clean/organized, and has a lot of energy and/or passions/hobbies/interests!

Extra brownie points for being weird/quirky/interesting, travel buddies, or people looking to work on a creative side project!
