Hey there, I'm Val :) Bubbly, adventurous and respectful. I'm looking for a roommate to join me and my two kitties in a great 2 bedroom apartment located next to Kits Beach.

I've lived in Vancouver for almost 4 years now and am in love with the Kitsilano lifestyle; lots of beach evenings and mountain weekends. I enjoy a good work/life balance that includes volleyball, going to the gym, wine nights with friends, backpacking, boardgames and chill nights. I am an independent contractor so my schedule varies in person/at home and the hours but I don't have online meetings later than 8pm. I have two cats that are super friendly and social but also like to get into anything that smells good - so food has to be put away right away. Otherwise they'll win you over with their cuddles and let you sleep peacefully at night :)

My current roommate is moving in with her boyfriend so there is some flexibility on move in between April -May 1st.

Things that would make us a good fit:

- You friendly and looking to get to know one another a bit. You feel comfortable with having friends over (yours too!) while being respectful of eachothers boundaries and schedules.

- You are a good communicator and like to keep things organized and clean. Life happens and things can get messy, but you are responsible to follow up and talk about any problems that come up.

- You work primarily out of the house. I work a hybrid job that I work from home part of the day and prefer the space to do so.

- If you're in a relationship you're mindful of the shared spaces (I will be too).

- You don't smoke in the apartment. No cigarettes.
