Sunlit Apartment in Astoria, Queens (N, W, R Trains - only a 20 minute commute into Manhattan)
2 Bed 1 bath - looking to fill one room
No Laundry in the building but the laundromat is only one block away. 2nd floor walk up, live-in super. The building is well maintained, with respectful neighbors.
About the Area: Grocery stores, bars, restaurants, shops, there is no shortage of things to do in this neighborhood. It is a mix of young professionals, families and artists. The apartment is located on a tree lined street tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the main road.
About your roommate:
Hi there! I am a 25 year old female. I am an actor/performer but I work in hospitality to pay the bills (nights and weekends). Because I am a singer, I rehearse from home during the day and I would mesh best with another creative (who doesn’t mind the noise), or someone that works away from home during the day. If you are a student or work from home and need it quiet, unfortunately, I don’t think it would be a good fit. I am big on respecting shared spaces, making sure that common areas are clean and tidy (most of the time). Besides the occasional singing, I am not very noisy and a peaceful roommate. I am also a plant lover. I have lived in this apartment for over 2 years and it is a great place. I am hoping to find someone that is responsible and friendly to share this beautiful space with. I can’t wait to meet you!
