About Me

Hey, I'm Ashley! My roommate is moving out of our Greenwich Village apt in Aug, so I’m hoping to fill her room and renew. My current roommate is one of my best friends from college so ideally looking for someone I'd become good friends with.

I'm very easy-going, clean/tidy, I WFH but my desk is set up in my room. I wake up pretty early for yoga every morning, spend a good amount of time to myself in my room during the week relaxing after work, but also love movie/wine nights on the couch, walks on the WSH, exploring the city and going out for drinks a couple nights over the weekend!

Ashley was a wonderful roommate! I’ve known her for 6 years. We were roommates in college for 2 years. Ashley is very organized, keeps space tidy at all times, has a great personality, thoughtful of others and easy going! She would be a great roommate!

Ashley and I first moved in together our freshman year of college at Penn State. We went from being complete strangers to living in a VERY small triple, and yet were able to somehow become best friends in the process and not get sick of each other. We then lived in our college apartment together, again sharing a not-so-great room. Despite not living in the nicest place, Ashley always made it a place I wanted to go back to. So much so that we moved to NYC together, again in a pretty small space. However, the size never matters with Ash because she knows how to clean up after herself and is someone you WANT to be close with. All these years living together and there’s genuinely not a single complaint I could think of. I was looking for a roommate and found a best friend of 7 years (and counting!). My time in New York is ending and while I’ll miss living in the city, I can promise you I’m going to miss living with Ashley more. She’s a master dishwasher, A+ movie and song selector, and has found the perfect balance between going out until the early morning and staying in; I can guarantee you, no matter what you want to do, she’ll be down for it. She also always finds cool things to do in the city and is able to convince me to walk down all four flights of stairs to get there. If you’re looking for a roommate who is fun but also keeps to herself (seriously, sometimes I don’t even know she’s home), will always do her share of cleaning and then some, knows how to respect a shared living space, and maybe someone who can even become a best friend, Ashley is your girl.

Available Room for Rent

My apartment could not be on a better street / in a better location (if you like the Greenwich/West Village area), my mail has never gotten stolen, never had a noise/bug/r*dent problem in the building. It’s on the 5th floor, we have super high ceilings which I love, it's very white/bright and gets great sunlight, the available room also has a tall window and big closet and can fit a full-size bed and dresser (and probably a small desk) comfortably! Stainless steel appliances, no dishwasher and no laundry but I go to a wash 'n fold about 2 blocks away and it's painless.

Rent: $1,700
Type: Walk Up
Bedrooms: 2
Baths: 1
Pets: No Pets
