Available Room for Rent
Spacious room available in Prospect Height - Exposed brick and tons of lights!
As our third roommate is moving across the country, we are looking to fill her room in our awesome Prospect Heights apartment (starting Oct 15th)! We are looking for a late twenties / early thirties person, who would be calm, clean and respectful - and isn't bothered by cats (there is one in the apartment).
The apartment is on the first floor and is brand new renovated + dishwasher and washing machine in unit. It is located in the middle of Prospect Heights, by tons of stores/bar/restaurant and only 3 blocks away from Prospect Park. The rooms in the apartment are quite big, and all have exposed bricks. However, we do not have any living area - just the kitchen and bathroom that are shared.
The rent is at $1400/month, with estimated charge of roughly $80/month and a deposit equivalent to the rent. You will need to apply through the company for them to verify your credit score (up to the NY standards).
The room could be furnished: Closet is $100, blinds are $75 (custom fit) and bed + frame are 800 (Westin heavenly queen 9 months old).
About the roommates: a early thirties Spanish man working as a teacher, and a late twenties Belgian girl working at an advertising agency. We're both pretty busy, and rarely at the apartment.
