Looking for someone to replace me in this beautiful apartment in the heart of Alphabet City - ideally from Dec 16th through to the end of May 2019. The rent is $1475 exactly and I'd be looking for December's rent ($760) + 1 month security ($1475). You’ll be living with Camille and Jenna, who I’ll be very sad to leave. Both are in their 20s and laid back, easy going and social people. Camille is an engineer and Jenna is doing a masters in Public Health and works in academic research. We’re looking for a young professional who is relaxed, but also considerate. It's quite a social house (we sometimes have people over for dinner or some drinks before a night out on the weekend), but we're generally conscious of everyone else's plans so that we share the space considerately. We also hang out together in the flat sometimes - especially now winter is coming so netflix + sofa is much more appealing! We like to keep the flat tidy and clean, but none of us are too uptight about this.

Room available in East Village/Alphabet City from 16th Dec
Looking for someone to replace me in this lovely apartment.
Beautiful, sun-filled, large room available to sublet from Dec 16th for ~6 months until the end of May 2019. If you decide to stay on longer you can sign the new lease when the current one ends at the end of May 2019.
The room:
The room is very spacious with a large window, plenty of light and a decent sized closet. It comes unfurnished, but is large enough to easily fit a full/double bed, desk, bedside table and other furniture.
The apartment:
Its a lovely apartment, with 1 bathroom, a kitchen with plenty of surfaces for cooking and a breakfast table and a living area with large couch for relaxing.
The building:
There is a lobby where packages get delivered, so you don't generally have to be in unless a signature is required. There is also a small gym, very large communal shared patio area (nice for hosting in the summer) and laundry facilities. We're on the 4th floor and there is an elevator.
The neighborhood:
I love this neighbourhood so much; plenty of bars and restaurants just around the corner, but the apartment always feels quiet at night; a sanctuary in the madness of manhattan. There are also beautiful community gardens nearby and we're very close to Tomkins Sq. Park. The closest subway is the 1st Av L (14 min walk), but you can also walk to the Astor place 4/5/6 (18 min walk) or 2nd Av F (18 min walk). We also have 3 close citibike stations (1 on our street).
Housemates:
