I am a mid-30s agnostic liberal gay male. I work in fashion/ecommerce at an office in midtown and am out the door by 7am and home around 7pm most weekdays. I like to cook, read and exercise, as well as go to music shows, galleries, the movies, theater, etc. I like to keep the apartment quiet, clean, and am not into clutter.

I am looking for someone to move into the corner bedroom of a 2 bedroom/1 bath apartment in Gotham West Residences. Available August 1st.
THE APARTMENT:
• Corner unit
• Very spacious for NY standards w/ oversized windows that bring in a ton of daylight.
• Individual heating & cooling units in each room
• Hardwood floors.
• Full-size stainless steel KitchenAid appliances (dishwasher, microwave, oven). Large sink with multi-setting extendable faucet.
• Spacious bathroom with large vanity
• Pets are ok (but the building charges an additional $25/mo)
THE ROOM:
• Corner room, with two oversized windows, brings in lots of light.

• A lush, well-manicured courtyard, great for laying out and reading a book or having wine with friends
THE AREA:
• As a Gotham West resident you will get 15% off at Gotham West Market (literally in the building) which has outdoor seating, some great happy hour deals, and lots of incredible food (Ivan Ramen, Ample Hills, Seamore's, Corner Bistro, etc).
• There are tons of bars and restaurants in the area. Seriously... you will never run out of options.
• We are 1 block away from the Hudson River Park, great for bike riding, running, or just hanging out.
• 1 block from the NY Water Taxi to FiDi
• The pier on 45th (1 block away) is a nice place to hang out on, or lay on the grass.
• Lots of great theater around, and cinemas too. Landmark Theaters (new upscale arthouse movie theater with reclining seats and a bar) or big multiplexes with IMAX/4DX etc.
• The fitness center in the building has an impressive assortment of equipment and weights for a building gym. But if you need something more, there is (in order of distance) Manhattan Plaza Club, Lifetime Athletic (w/ rooftop pool!), TMPL, Equinox, NYSC and Crunch. Lots of yoga studios and crossfit spots in the area as well.
• Target is opening on the corner soon, which will probably end up being the best grocery store in the area. Otherwise there's a Food Emporium and a Sunac very close. Brooklyn Fare and Amish Market are a little bit further, but within walking distance.
