My husband and I have 1 or 2 bedrooms to rent in our large townhouse. One fully furnished, one partially furnished (king size mattress in the room). The bedroom that is furnished (in the pics) has a walk-in closet. You'd have your own large bathroom, quite washer and dryer next you your bedroom. We also have a built-in commercial style gym in the basement that you would be free to use. A bi-weekly cleaning service every other Thursday that you would not need to pay for, but can reap the benefits of. All utilities included (gas, water, electric, cable, internet, trash, etc).
**DISCLAIMER
We have THREE dogs - 2 miniature schnauzers and 1 American Bully. All dogs have been professionally trained and do not bark unless they sense something is wrong. They are not allowed in the kitchen, on furniture, or in the guest bedrooms. Therefore, you will not need to worry about the dogs bothering you, unless you don't mind snuggles because they are great for that :)
About us:
My husband and I are young professionals (32 and 36 years old) military veterans and federal government employees, both working in DC. We are laid back and not up tight at all. During the week, we get up at 4 am for the gym and go from the gym straight to work. We usually get home about 5:30 pm, whine down for the evening and get ready for the next day, in bed about 9 pm to do it all over again the next day. With that said, we have a pretty regular routine and would not bother you in the waking hours. On the weekends we like to sometimes BBQ on our deck and hang out a bit before prepping for the following work week. You'd always be welcome to join us if you choose. We also travel a lot so there would be many times you'd have the house to yourself. We also enjoy going to wineries with our dogs, bike rides, hiking, out on the town with friends somethings and every now and then we may invite a few other friends over for dinner and wine, etc. We are looking for 1 or 2 professional and respectful individuals (a couple) to rent out our bedroom.
